Every Bride to Be Should Know Something About Summer Wedding Dresses

As you are shopping for summer wedding dresses, it is important to think about your venue and your photography plans. The potential of a hot day could make your discomfort level visible enough for your guests to see and for you to remember when you look at your wedding photos. Two summer wedding dresses might be the perfect solution which will allow you to wear the ornate ball gown wedding dress you have always dreamed of as you say your vows and a comfortable, cool short wedding dress for your reception.

Length
First, think about the length and cut of the dress. A long a-line wedding dress is okay if you're getting married at a garden or indoors. If you're getting married at the beach, however, you really do not want to wear a full length dress. Short beach wedding dresses are good choices for beach wedding. As for the cut, wear something that flatters your figure.

Fabric
The summer wedding dresses should be soft and breathable. You don't want to sweat or feel uncomfortable on the biggest day of your life. You obviously won't want a long train, either. Heavily textured fabrics should be avoided. Choose short wedding dresses made out of any of the following:

Chiffon is delicate and transparent. Just don't choose a layered chiffon dress.
Batiste is an extremely lightweight, transparent fabric.
Crepe is a thin and light fabric with a crinkled, yet soft surface.
Charmeuse is a semi-lustrous fabric that feels like satin.
Damask is somewhat similar to brocade, except that it's woven to be much lighter.
Duchesse satin is a lightweight of polyester and silk woven into a satin-like finish.

Color
Believe it or not, splashes of color are finding their way onto all types of wedding dresses and gowns. From a bright-colored accessory to vibrant beading, your dress can be truly trendy if it departs from the traditional all-white look.

While there are lots of options you can choose from, choosing the right fabric and the right color combination is also very important. Colors in summer wedding dresses are different from these in winter, so you need to choose a suitable one. If you're getting married in summer, colors like yellow, light baby pink, golden, white, lilac and pastel are recommended. You can also consider chiffon beach wedding dresses adorned with appliqué which is breezy and romantic.
